If a person isn't familiar with cowboy boots, they would have no idea which brand or style to buy. Personally, I love the craziest looking ones I can find and with the loudest designs. I prefer Old Gringos, Corrals, or Luchese's. The square toe is for a more casual look and the pointed toes are for a more girlie and fashionable look. I have both and I wear my square toes when I am outdoors and on the ranch or riding horses.
